The euro was trading at USD 1.4506, equated with USD 1.4497 and the quid was at USD 1.9443, equated with USD 1.9464 Friday. Markets in Japan existed closed for a vacation Monday. The bucks was purchasing 106.64 yen, likenned with 107.43 yen late Friday.
